Bethesda House has wonderful relationships with many of the South Shore’s churches. Together we have the common goal of helping women raise their children self-sufficiently through a loving relationship with God. Below are just come of the ways we work with churches to spread the word of Bethesda House. Please feel free to share any of these ideas with your church!
**NEW** HOUSE CAMPAIGN
Help Bethesda House spread the word about our New House Campaign! Can your church post a notice about the campaign and any of the many fundraisers Bethesda House is holding? Can your church run it’s own fundraiser? Can your church include information about our campaign on it’s website and social media? The more people we reach, the faster we reach our goal of raising $125,000 for the renovation to the new Bethesda House that will give our moms more independence and allow us to service more women and children.
HOW YOUR CHURCH CAN HELP:
Invite Directors John and Missy Porter to introduce Bethesda House to your church members:
The success of Bethesda House depends on the support of the local community. Our Directors would welcome the opportunity to introduce Bethesda House to the Church during an upcoming service or Mass.
Introduce Bethesda House to a women’s group or special focus group within the congregation:
Special focus groups have run fundraisers or brought volunteers to Bethesda house.
Include a bulletin/newsletter announcement or social media mention at any time seeking volunteers:
