POSITION SUMMARY:

The Overnight Residential Support Staff serves as the on-site presence during overnight hours, ensuring the safety and well-being of residents while supporting the mission and values of our ministry. This position includes designated sleep hours, with the expectation that staff are available to respond to resident needs or emergencies, if they arise.

Responsibilities:

• Provide a calm, welcoming, and supportive overnight presence for residents.
• Ensure the safety and security of the home during overnight hours.
• Respond appropriately to resident needs, questions, or emergencies.
• Support daytime staff by maintaining the program environment overnight and communicating any significant events during via shift note.
• Complete a few hours of light household duties, which may include:
  • Straightening common areas
  • Light kitchen cleanup
  • Laundry
  • Restocking supplies
  • Other light housekeeping tasks as assigned
• Maintain appropriate documentation.
• Uphold confidentiality, professionalism, and the Christian values of the organization.

Qualifications:

• Compassion for expectant mothers of all ages.
• Reliable, mature, and able to work independently.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain calm in emergency situations.
• Experience in residential care, human services, childcare, ministry, or related fields is preferred but not required.
• Ability to pass all required background checks.
